Domestic Infant Adoption Program

Adoptions Unlimited matches prospective adoptive parents with expectant mothers looking to make an adoption plan for their unborn baby. Families looking to join our program must have an approved Home Study completed by Adoptions Unlimited or another licensed adoption agency.

We guide you in developing your adoption profile before we present it to potential birth parents. The purpose of Adoptions Unlimited is to unite individuals desiring to adopt with birth mothers who have elected to place their child for adoption.

As a non-sectarian, non-discriminative agency, Adoptions Unlimited works with families and clients of all backgrounds. Our goal is to find a forever family for every waiting child. Call us today for more details.

Types of Adoptions

When working with the birth mom, we respect her desires for confidentiality and future possible contact. Most of our placements are semi-open, with different levels of communication during the pregnancy and contact after adoption.

Even though an open adoption may be beneficial for some, it may only be ideal for some matches. Your adoption specialist will discuss how open an adoption you are comfortable having.

  • Open adoption: The birth parent(s) can directly contact the child and family. Usually, this takes the form of calls (verbal and video), pictures, and exchanging letters. Birth parent(s) may be allowed to request visits with the birth child.
  • Semi-open adoption: Birth parent(s) will receive periodic pictures and updates.
  • Closed adoption: in this process, no information will be given or received by either the birth parents or the adoptive family.
